The Quadrilobo
For centuries the Quadrilobo has been considered a typical stylistic and decorative element of Venetian luxury, becoming a distinctive trait of the soul of the Serenissima in art and architecture.
The dial design
With Nereide Quadrilobato, the latest addition to the diving collection, Meccaniche Veneziane brings tradition back into modernity. The dial of this elegant timepiece celebrates the Venetian stylistic heritage by presenting one of its most traceable and iconic architectural elements, the "Quadrilobo".
BK7 glass bezel insert
BK7 glass exhibits exceptional physical properties: it is lead-free, relatively lighter and of higher quality than other glass crystals. Its properties of low dispersion (with Abbe numbers around 60), low refractive index (≈1.52) and high clarity make it the perfect option for making high-precision glass objects that are very durable over time. For these reasons, after a long process of research and development, Meccaniche Veneziane has decided to produce the new bezel inserts in this material.
Limited edition of 100 pieces
Only 100 Quadrilobed Nereid Limited Edition were produced for the most iconic and distinctive Meccaniche Veneziane watch ever produced. In addition to the official documentation, each watch has an engraving on the side of the case that certifies belonging to this limited edition.
A Swiss heart in sight
For this limited edition of Nereid, a new caseback was designed and engineered to showcase the Swiss-made MV285 automatic movement. In particular, extremely fine sandblasting was used on the bridges of the movement to give the watch a more modern look. The golden rotor with Côtes de Genève finish, on the contrary, is the classic element, present in each of our creations.

The MV285 movement is made by the Swiss manufacturer Landeron (base Landeron24), known for producing mechanical chronograph calibers since 1925. The caliber features many decorations such as Côtes de Genève, Gold 3N treatment and sandblasted finish.
A unique package
We believe that every detail is important to fully satisfy the requests of our customers, and in this sense the packaging certainly plays a fundamental role. Nereide Quadrilobato Limited Edition is presented in a specially designed personalized box that depicts the Quadrilobo, the most famous architectural element in Venice, synonymous with art and classicism.
The certificate
In addition to the various documents available with each Meccaniche Veneziane watch, a special certificate has been included indicating the exact number engraved on the case. This detail is essential to certify membership in this Limited Edition consisting of only 100 copies.
