It is a long and wonderful journey that led to the birth of Montecristo OISA 1937.
A journey symbolically represented by a sailing ship departing against the backdrop of the world map of the two worlds, reminiscent of the voyages of the brave and bold Italian explorers of the 15th century as well as those of Italian watchmakers since the time of Galileo Galilei.
A story, entirely Italian, that gives life to a tale made of passion and courage, born from the meeting of LOCMAN, the historic Elban watchmaking house, and OISA 1937, another excellence of Made in Italy.
It is in the LOCMAN Montecristo model that the first manual mechanical movement OISA 1937 comes to life, born from years of research and presented by OISA 1937 in partnership with LOCMAN with the intent to launch a new challenge: to revive Italian-made mechanical watchmaking.
