The name of the watch is a tribute to the Venetian submarine Nereide, a Nautilus class submarine built in the Arsenale between 1911 and 1915 and commissioned to the engineer De Bernardis of the Royal Navy. Our Jubilee bracelet

We reinterpreted one of the bracelets most appreciated in the world of watchmaking, adapting it perfectly to the shapes and finishes of the case of the Nereide model. Numerous tests have been carried out to obtain a product ergonomic And quality with satin and polished finishes. A perfect fit on the wrist is guaranteed by one butterfly clasp which makes the watch practical to use in any situation.

BK7 glass bezel insert

The glass BK7 presents exceptional physical properties: It is lead free, relatively lighter and of higher quality than other glass crystals. Its properties of low dispersion (with Abbe numbers around 60), low refractive index (≈1.52) and high clarity make it the perfect option for making glassy objects with high precision and decidedly durable over time. For these reasons, after a long research and development process, we have decided to produce the new ferrule inserts in this material.

Satin finish

This careful stylistic choice lends a more modern look to a design that aims to convey tradition but also innovation. This type of satin finish is obtained through a manual process carried out by expert craftsmen who, with skilful expertise, finish every single surface of the case. The entire process consists of a plurality of processing steps which, taken together, guarantee the achievement of the desired quality level.
